Disabling workflows site-wide

by Mikko Ohtamaa last modified Dec 30, 2008 03:02 PM
How to disable workflows if you don't need them for your site.

Go to Zope management interface / portal_workflow. Set (Default) workflow field to blank. Also, set workflow to blank for items using custom workflows, e.g. folders and workflows introduced by additional Plone products.

After saving the settings, click the 'Update permissions' button at the very bottom of the page. Your items will now be without workflow.
