Change Available Types for Events

How to change the types of events (e.g. "meeting" or "appointment") available to the standard Plone Event type.

If you don't like the event's standard vocabulary for the Event ? Ctype, you can change it to your needs:

  • Go to the ZMI
  • Click on portal_metadata in your Plone site
  • Select the tab Elements
  • Choose the element Subject
  • Change the vocabulary of the content type Event - each type must be on a separate line
  • Don't forget to click on Update
