How do I add to the list of default display choices for a folder?

How do I add the content types that don't show up as choice when selecting the default display for a folder?

1. Open the ZMI for your site.

2. Select the plone instance.

3. Select portal_properties

4. Select site_properties

5. Scroll down to the box labeled default_page_types

6. Add the content type in this box.

Example: Folder

7. Click Save.

8. Go into the folder you're editing on your site and select the display button.

9. Select the Change Content Item as Default View option.

Result: you will be taken to a page where you can chose the content item you wish to display. In this example, you would now see folders as options to add.
