Contributing Documentation
The easiest way to contribute to the documentation team is to start writing How-tos and Tutorials in the documentation section.
You need to be logged in to add documentation, and make sure you read:
- the How to contribute and use document,
- along with the Reviewer's guide
- as well as how to write your documentation according to the Plone guidelines.
If you are interested, and after you have proven your Plone skills and writing skills, you can be upgraded to the reviewer role. All documentation on plone.org is quality assured, and the reviewers play an important role in this. No documentation goes live without being approved by a reviewer.
Documentation tracker
We have an issue tracker for documentation. It is used by the documentation team to manage their processes. Serious requests for documentation (i.e. documentation that is found to be missing or inaccurate, not random support questions, please!) can be logged here by members of the public.
