Test Docuemnt: publishing items.

Description: This is to verify that you can publish items. 
Base System.
	a. Client
		1. windows running IE.
		2. linux gnome/KDE running mozilla.
	b.Server
		1. windows running Zope 2.5.1, CMF 1.3, Plone 1.0 beta 1.
		2. linux running Zope 2.5.1, CMF 1.3, Plone 1.0 beta 1.

 
Test Prerequisites: Plone should be installed with a  valid NON-ADMIN account , must have a user with 'manager' role.



1. Start Zope from the ./start script.
   Observe the text that streams at the command line. Verify that ther are no errors.
   
2. Start your web rowser and open the url to 'http://machineName:8080/PloneSiteName' .

3. Click the 'sign in' link and log in with a NON-ADMIN account.

7. Verify that you are at your home page.

8. Click on 'my folder' link on toobar.

9. Add some items to you 'my folder'

10. In the Folder Contents List View clicl on the Title link for any item.

11. From the toolbar above clcik on 'publishing'.

12. Click on the 'submit' radio button , and 'apply' button .

13. Logout and log in as an 'admin' or 'manager'.

14. click on the 'pending' link on the toolbar.

15. Click on the title link for the pending item , then the publishing link on the toobar.

16. publish the item. Log in as non-admin user and verify it is published.

18. Log in as manager ande  'retract'

19. Log in as non-admin user and verify it is retracted.

20. resubmit publish request.

18. Log in as manager and  'reject'.

21.  Log in as non-admin user and verify it is not published.

22. Add a event and publish it.


23. Click on the Calendar Verify it is displaying  new items properly.







Notes:

publishing tab does not show the publishing start/end date supplied by person submitting the request to publish - REPORTED

clicking on calendar date displays all published and unpublished Event entries - REPORTED (Bug or feature?)

Clicking on the "Change Status" button goes through when no objects are even selected - CLASSIFIED AS A FEATURE. EDITS THE PUBLISH PROPERTIES OF THE CONTAINING FOLDER.
