Michele Finelli has been a consultant for companies and research institution since 1996. He has worked on research projects, mainly regarding security, networking, technology transfer, and seldom giving tutorials on software engineering, project management and open source software. In 2003 he founded with other friends BioDec, the first Italian company specialized in bioinformatics and proteomics. He has published papers on bioinformatics, cellular automata and chaos theory.
